It's that time of year again...
where fear is abundant, like one of those exquisite banquet waiting to be devoured. But this is meant to be savored. After all, he only have 31 days...
Pitch looked over his shoulder, smiling as a child-like figure innocently looked up at him through the all-too familiar burlap sack that was fashioned as a mask with mere buttons for eyes and a stitched mouth. But he knew that this is no ordinary child...after all, he was present at his birth...
"I see you are well this year..." he spoke, as if greeting to an old friend.
The "child" said nothing, reminding him of another friend that he held dear. However, unlike the Moon, this one has a physical form...and the only response he have is a soft kick to a bigger sack that served as a make-shift trick-'r-treat bag. Pitch seemed to get the message as he grinned wider, the shadows seemingly coming alive around them.
"Let's make this year scarier..."

Happy Halloween from Pitch Black and Sam, the anthromorphic personification of Halloween.
While I can admire the original characters serving as physical personifications of certain holidays, Halloween in particular, for RotG...I'm surprised that none have taken note of Sam of the horror anthology film Trick 'r Treat. I've never seen the film FULLY, but so far, Sam is just AWESOME. On the same level as Jack Skellington AND Pitch Black the Nightmare King.

Sam is awesome. And he's technically a spirit too, though I doubt that he'd be Guardian material.
